Volleyball Team Dedicates Senior Day to Memory of Neil Donohue

Neil Donohue,a longtime Fair Lawn resident, volleyball official and supporter of the program, died suddenly on April 22.

Neil Donohue, a Fair Lawn resident for the past 60 years and a NJSIAA volleyball, football and basketball official for the past 25, died suddenly and unexpectedly on April 22. He was 69.

Fair Lawn High School Volleyball coach Peter Zisa will dedicate Friday's Senior Day match against Passaic Valley to Donohue's memory.

Friends, residents, and members of the volleyball community are invited to attend Friday's 4 p.m. match at to celebrate Donohue's life.

Donohue's daughters Darla and Dawn are both graduates of Fair Lawn's Girls Volleyball program, his brother, , and his nephew, Paul, was a 2007 Fair Lawn High School Athletic Hall of Fame inductee.
