• Gymnastics: Can't-miss meets for the week of Sept. 21 (nj.com subscription) — Hunterdon Central's gymnastics team, based in Flemington, is highlighted in this statewide roundup as it hosts No. 8 Bridgewater-Raritan on Wednesday and joins the Raider Invitational on Saturday. The schedule offers local fans several chances this week to see top New Jersey programs compete, including a key Skyland Conference matchup on Hunterdon Central's home floor.
• New Jersey church puts late member's large bequest to work, upgrading for accessibility (episcopalnewsservice.org) — Calvary Episcopal Church in Flemington is undergoing major accessibility renovations funded largely by a late member's bequest of more than half a million dollars. New accessible restrooms, kitchen upgrades, and upcoming wheelchair lifts aim to welcome back older and disabled worshippers and better serve a growing Flemington community, with work expected to finish by late 2026 or early 2027.
