FLEMINGTON, NJ — Hikers can explore five different parks when Hunterdon County's Fall Hiking Week gets underway Monday.
The Hunterdon County Division of Parks and Recreation program runs Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Each day features a moderate to strenuous hike at a different location: Jugtown Mountain, Sourland Mountain, Tower Hill, Charlestown Reserve and Cushetunk Mountain Preserve.
The program costs $40 and is open to ages 15 through adult. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Principal Park Naturalist Laura Bush will lead the program. Participants should bring water and dress for the weather because hikes are planned even during light rain.
Participants can register for Fall Hiking Week through the county's online registration portal.
