Fall Hiking Week Brings Guided Outdoor Adventures Near Flemington
The five-day hiking program will take participants to a different Hunterdon County park each morning.
FLEMINGTON, NJ — Hikers can explore five different parks when Hunterdon County's Fall Hiking Week gets underway Monday.
The Hunterdon County Division of Parks and Recreation program runs Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Each day features a moderate to strenuous hike at a different location: Jugtown Mountain, Sourland Mountain, Tower Hill, Charlestown Reserve and Cushetunk Mountain Preserve.

The program costs $40 and is open to ages 15 through adult. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Principal Park Naturalist Laura Bush will lead the program. Participants should bring water and dress for the weather because hikes are planned even during light rain.
