COVID-19 Testing Expands In County
County Announces Evening Appointments For COVID-19 Testing Starting Nov. 2nd
Hunterdon County’s Freeholders have announced that free COVID-19 testing appointments will be available on Mondays, from 4 to 8 pm, for 1st responders, teachers, critical infrastructure employees, or anyone who has frequent contact with the public while working, starting Monday, November 2nd.
Freeholder Board Deputy Director Susan J. Soloway, the Board’s Health Department liaison, stated, “The Freeholders have worked with HMG to create additional testing at convenient hours for people who work during the day. First responders, teachers, and those whose jobs put them in close contact with the public are all encouraged to take advantage of the testing.”
The COVID-19 testing is administered by the Hunterdon Medical Group (HMG) and is available without prescription at the HMG office, 121 Route 31 South, Suite 100, in Raritan Township.

The test site will also continue to be available on Tuesdays from 1 to 5 pm. Testing appointments are available for Election Day, November 3rd, and November 9th and 10th.

Hunterdon County Health Officer Karen DeMarco added that, “If there is a continued growth in demand for testing, the County will work with HMG to add additional days for appointments.”
Soloway noted, “HMG continues to be a great partner with the County in this effort and we thank them for their cooperation.”
