Flemington-Raritan School Board To Hold Friday Retreat: What To Know
The special meeting moves to J.P. Case Middle School at 6 p.m., with no formal action expected.
FLEMINGTON, NJ — The Flemington-Raritan Regional Board of Education will meet Friday, June 12, at 6 p.m. at J.P. Case Middle School for a board retreat — a location change from its usual meeting site.
No formal action is anticipated at the special meeting, which is dedicated to board professional development. The session is open to the public and will be livestreamed, the district said.
According to the agenda, board members will review their self-evaluation, including areas of strength and areas for improvement, and hold a goals workshop covering a review of the board's 2025-26 goals and a discussion of district and board goals for 2026-27. The board will also review its norms and consider any revisions.

The public will have an opportunity to address the board, with each speaker allotted three minutes during a 30-minute comment session. Speakers are asked to sign the register and state their name, municipality of residence and group affiliation, if applicable.
Board members will not respond to speakers during the session, though all comments will be considered, according to the agenda.

The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for June 24. Remaining 2026 meeting dates include July 22, Aug. 26, Sept. 23, Oct. 14, Nov. 18 and Dec. 9.
