Local Scouts Take a Hike

Troop 200 from Annandale hiked a portion of the Appalachian Trail

Boy Scouts from Troop 200 recently hiked a section of the Appalachian Trail. The boys - Andrew Bozzi, Cameron Lutz, John Martoccia and Ryan Senger - members of the Council of Ricks patrol, and several scout masters hiked more than six miles with 1200-feet elevation gained to Pulpit Rock and Pinnacle Peak. While at Pinnacle Peak they explored a small cave. They also spent time exploring a large blue rock boulder field near their campsite in Pennsylvania.

Troop 200 is a high-adventure, boy-led troop. The scouts meet on Monday evenings during the school year at Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale, NJ. For more information about the troop, follow BSA Troop 200 on Facebook and Instagram or reach out us at Troop200NJ@gmail.com. #Troop200 #AdventureIsWaiting
