Man Admits To Fatal Shooting At Truck Stop In Hunterdon County
David L. Rodriguez, 45, of Alamo, Texas, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree aggravated manslaughter.
UNION, NJ — A Texas man has admitted to shooting and killing Ricardo Menezes De Castro at a truck stop in Union Township on Jan. 23, 2021, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson announced.
David L. Rodriguez, 45, of Alamo, Texas, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree aggravated manslaughter before Hunterdon County Superior Court Judge Angela Borkowski on June 22.
The guilty plea is a result of a joint investigation conducted by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey State Police.
