NJ Festival Of Ballooning Is July 29-31: See Kansas, Collective Soul, Todd Rundgren + More
Experience fireworks, a balloon glow, and plenty of food and entertainment at the New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning in Readington.
READINGTON, NJ — Dozens of colorful hot air balloons will dot the skies and there will be plenty to see on the ground, as well, at the New Jersey Lottery-sponsored Festival of Ballooning.
The annual festival is from July 29-31 at Solberg Airport (39 Thor Solberg Road, Whitehouse Station).
The festival boasts up 100 air balloons, concerts, vendors, crafters, fireworks, and more.

Entertainment highlights include fireworks on Friday; a balloon glow on Saturday; and music performances by Kansas, Todd Rundgren, Collective Soul, and several tribute bands throughout the weekend.
Balloons ascend at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and at 6:30 p.m. on Friday-Sunday.

Gate open and close times are as follows:
- Friday: 1 p.m. open, 10 p.m. close
- Saturday: 6 a.m. open, 10 p.m. close
- Sunday: 6 a.m. open, 8 p.m. close
