Pedestrian Safety Campaign Kicks Off In Flemington

FLEMINGTON, NJ — The Flemington Borough Police Department will be conducting a Street Smart NJ pedestrian safety education campaign aimed at reducing pedestrian-motor vehicle crashes in New Jersey, said Chief Jerry Rotella.

Street Smart NJ is a collaborative effort between public, private and non-profit organizations.

The Flemington Police Department will be working with goHunterdon, the local non-profit organization dedicated to safe and sustainable transportation in Hunterdon County, to educate people who are driving and walking.

The Flemington Borough Street Smart NJ campaign will continue into July. The campaign will be focused on the Mine Street and Stangl Road area within the borough.
