Flemington Business Hosting Breast Cancer Risk Awareness Event

Cancer Specialist, Radiologist, Transformational Coach and Healthy Living Experts to Give Presentations

Sphericality, the fitness and lifestyle studio for women in downtown Flemington, invites women in the community and beyond to participate in a breast cancer risk awareness event on Sat., October 19, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The program features a keynote talk by Dr. Lisa Sheppard, founder of Pink Breast Center, presentations by healthy living and cancer experts, barre classes that tone and sculpt, vendors and giveaways. Participants are encouraged to register in advance by visiting http://www.sphericality.com/pink. 100% of the $35 recommended donation goes directly to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which is the world’s largest breast cancer organization.

The event features presentations by:

  • Jennifer Montes, M.D., Hunterdon Breast Surgery Center
  • Zuhaib Ibrahim, MD., Institute for Advanced Reconstruction
  • Dorian Madreperla, Founder, Sphericality
  • Carmell Clark, Transformational Coach

Attendees can take a barre class on Oct. 19 and will also receive two weeks of unlimited classes. Donors out of the area will receive a coaching session and access to online exercise videos from Sphericality.

“Studies show that regular exercise can reduce the risk of breast cancer by 33%,” says Dorian Madreperla, founder, Sphericality. “We organized this event to bring leading breast cancer experts together to educate woman on how to reduce their risk, while financially supporting the work of Susan G. Komen Foundation, which funds breast cancer research and provides real-time help to those facing the disease.”

There will be an after-party at Sage on the street level of 124 Main Street from 2-5. All participants will receive a 10% coupon and a free Breast Cancer Risk Awareness bracelet.
