18-Wheeler Flips Over On George Washington Bridge
High winds caused the semi-trailer to flip over, police said.

FORT LEE, NJ - High winds caused a semi-trailer truck to flip over on the upper level of the George Washington Bridge Wednesday night, police said.
Authorities told CBS 2 News that strong winds caused the 18-wheeler that was traveling east on the bridge to flip over into the westbound lanes.
According to the report, the trailer was empty and a diesel fuel spill was also reported.

Traffic on the bridge was down to one lane heading east and there were delays of 45 minutes, 511nj.org reported. No injuries were reported.
Authorities issued a high wind alert and a tractor-trailer ban on the bridge’s upper level in both directions, CBS 2 reported.
