3 People Taken To Hospital Following GWB Crash

3 people were taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries and 2 lanes were blocked after the mid-span crash, police said.

FORT LEE, NJ — Three people were taken to the hospital following a four-vehicle crash on the George Washington Bridge Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

Three people were taken to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center with neck and back injuries, said Joe Pentangelo, a Port Authority Police spokesman. None of the injuries were critical.

Fort Lee Police said the crash occurred on the bridge's upper level.

Two lanes were closed on the eastbound George Washington Bridge following the crash.
