Bricks were spilled on the bridge's upper level.

FORT LEE, N.J. — There was a 90-minute delay heading toward the George Washington Bridge Monday due to two tractor-trailers colliding, Fort Lee Police said.

The front of a tractor-trailer carrying bricks collided with the back of a tractor-trailer in front of it at about 7:40 a.m. on the New York City-bound upper level, said Joe Pentangelo, a Port Authority Police spokesman.

The bricks spilled all over the bridge, closing two lanes.
