Bergen Man Caught With Cocaine, Crack In Spider-Man Bag At GWB: Police

Wilgan D. Herasme, 38, was stopped for a traffic violation, police said.

FORT LEE, NJ — A Bergen County man was arrested on drug possession charges after police found cocaine and crack cocaine in the vehicle he was driving at the George Washington Bridge Monday night, police said.

Port Authority Police stopped Wilgan D. Herasme, 38, of Lodi, for a traffic violation at 7:30 p.m., said Joe Pentangelo, Port Authority Police spokesman.

Police found a black Spider-Man bag containing 31 small bags containing suspected cocaine weighing about 1 ounce and 11 plastic twists of suspected crack cocaine weighing about 1 ounce, Pentangelo said.

Herasme was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
