Body Discovered At Overpeck County Park In Leonia: Police
The Bergen County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Leonia police officers and members of the Bergen County Sheriff's Office responded to Overpeck County Park after a body was reported there Tuesday morning.
Bergen County Sheriff's Office spokesman William Schivella said at 6:12 a.m. Leonia officers asked county authorities to respond to the park after the body was discovered.
The sheriff's office is investigating the death, but is not seeking any suspects at this time and there is no imminent danger to the community, Schivella said.
