Drug Dealer Sold 1 Half Kilo Of Heroin In Fort Lee: Prosecutor

FORT LEE, NJ — A Bronx Uber driver was accused of selling one half kilogram of heroin in the borough recently.
Yonny Marte Alvarez, 26, was arrested Friday after an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force, said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.
The investigation began after Calo's office received information that Alvarez was selling narcotics in Bergen County.

Alvarez was charged with first-degree distribution of one half kilogram of heroin. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a court appearance, Calo said.
