To kick off the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Girl Scouting, thousands of Girl Scouts will walk across the George Washington Bridge, symbolically "bridging into the next century." In a simultaneous event, Scouts from South Jersey will walk across the Ben Franklin Bridge to Philadelphia.
Participants (adults and children) must register and pay a $50 entry fee, which includes a boxed lunch, free parking, a commemorative badge, and more.
