The Birth of the Blues : United Jersey Blues Network

Son Lewis will takes the audience on a musical walk down the fabled highways, juke joints, and back alleys in an historical musical retrospective of over 100 years of America’s only truly indigenous musical art form – Blues music. Mr. Lewis will talk with the audience about the rich history of the music, and perform songs with his band from early Blues greats like John Jackson, Lightning Hopkins, Little Walter, Willie Dixon, and more.
