Fort Lee Fire Department Gets New Rescue Vehicle

The heavy rescue vehicle has a 12,000-horsepower engine.

FORT LEE, NJ — The borough's fire department has added a new vehicle to its fleet.

The 2017 heavy rescue apparatus was delivered to the department recently.

The vehicle has a 12,500-horsepower engine, 35,000-watt generator and a 9,000-watt light tower.
