No matter one’s age, strength and flexibility are necessary attributes to navigate our world with agility and confidence. As seniors, it is even more imperative that, to counter the body’s natural atrophy, we exercise our muscular system including upper torso, legs and core. A strong body translates into better balance, walking and day-to-day functioning.
Join the Fort Lee Public Library for this seminar, led by Richard Portugal, on Thursday, December 3 at 2pm where you will learn chair and standing exercises to build strength utilizing a large lightweight ball, a resistance band, a small ball and muscle-to-muscle implementation.
