Fort Lee Receives Medicine Drop Off Box
The box will be installed at the borough police department. Residents may drop off their used or expired pills in the box.

FORT LEE, N.J. — The borough has received a Project Medicine drop box that will be installed next week.
The box will be in the police department lobby. It provides a secure, environmentally friendly way to dispose of unwanted drugs year round.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has found that more people die from overdosing on prescription painkillers in the United States than from heroin and cocaine combined.
