FORT LEE, N.J. — The Fort Lee Rotary chapter will donate $1,500 to a non-profit that drives veterans to their medical appointments.The chapter will present the money to Driven By Heroes at Meson Madrid in Palisades Park at 12:30 p.m.The money was collected from chapter members, called rotarians, at the group's meetings. Driven By Heroes founder Tom Michaels is a rotarian. Michaels will be joined by Albert Williams, a former specialist with the Army.

The Bergen Volunteers Redefining Retirement Program encourages retirees and others to experience the power of making a difference in someone’s life by working with non-profits helping others across Bergen County.

During the session, participants will hear about how to become a volunteer, the Bergen Volunteers Redefining Retirement Program, and the types of volunteer needs and opportunities.

Hosted by the North Bergen Community Police this flea market is held monthly through December on Bergenline Avenue along James J. Braddock North Hudson County Park. There will be many vendors selling an array of new merchandise, clothing, jewelry and accessories, work gear, toys, cleaning products and personal care, collectible items and even watch repair. So bring your friends and enjoy the beautiful park, local restaurants, bakeries, food trucks and shopping. You never know what bargains or treasures you may find. Hope to see you there!
This event is open to the public from 9-4 pm and will be canceled due to rain or inclement weather. Check out JC’s event calendar for all the weekend events we produce.
EVENT DATES: JC plans to run this event on the 1st Saturday of each month throughout the year.&nbsp;We will no longer be running this event on the 3rd Saturday of every month starting in August 2026.
