GWB Delays Expected Next Week

Part of roadway linking the George Washington Bridge to the Harlem River Drive will be closed, Port Authority said.

Delays on the George Washington Bridge could last most of the weekend due to a major repair work of the Trans-Manhattan Expressway connector ramp.

The ramp connects the George Washington Bridge and Harlem River Drive. The southbound side of the roadway, which runs from the bridge to Harlem River Drive, will be closed beginning midnight Saturday through 8 a.m. Monday.

One lane of the northbound side, which runs to the bridge, will also be closed during that time.
