GWB Lane Closures To Continue Throughout This Week
The eastbound lower-level lanes will be closed.

FORT LEE, N.J. — Traffic delays at and near the George Washington Bridge are expected to continue for months thanks to a massive repair and repaving project.
The lower-level eastbound lanes will be closed every night this week from 9 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, and Thursday through 5 p.m. the following morning, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced.
Eastbound traffic will be limited to the bridge's upper level while the lower-level lanes are closed. Similar overnight closure schedules are expected to continue until mid-November, Port Authority said.
