A Bergen County police chief faces possible disciplinary action by local officials due to harassment allegations filed by a subordinate.

Lt. Matthew Finck claims in a $10 million lawsuit that Palisades Park Police Chief Benjamin Ramos harassed and retaliated against him, a report by The Record said.

Anthony Pope, Finck’s attorney, claims that Finck has been beset by “repeated hostile conduct,” primarily by Ramos, according to the report.

Ramos received a formal ”Rice notice” from Borough Attorney John Schettino stating that possible disciplinary action will be discussed at a council meeting Tuesday, according to the report.
