Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child In Fort Lee For Years: Prosecutor
Ronald M. Granados, 35, allegedly sexually assaulted the child for about four years, authorities said.

FORT LEE, NJ — A Bergen County man accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile for years in the borough was arrested Wednesday, Gurbir S. Grewal, Bergen County's acting prosecutor, announced.
Ronald M. Granados, 35, was arrested after the state Division of Child Protection and Permanency reported to the prosecutor's office that Granados allegedly engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile in both Fairview and Fort Lee, Grewal stated in a news release.
An investigation by the Fairview and Fort Lee police departments and the prosecutor's office investigated revealed that the alleged abuse occurred for four years before and after the child was 13 years old, Grewal said.

Granados was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by sexual contact, sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, the acting prosecutor said.
Superior Court Judge Terry P. Bottinelli set Granado's bail at $300,000 with no 10 percent option. Granados was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.

Granados is to have no contact with the alleged victim and must surrender any weapons and his passport if released on bail. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 31 at 8:30 a.m.
