More Than 1-Hour Delay On George Washington Bridge
Breaking: The delay is due to lanes on the Cross Bronx Expressway being closed.
FORT LEE, NJ — There is a more than one-hour delay on and approaching the George Washington Bridge Thursday morning.
The delay is due to an incident Cross Bronx Expressway, 511nj.com, the state's emergency traffic notification system. The website reported a 70-minute delay on the bridge.
Borough officials said lanes were closed on the expressway.
