Mysterious Bright, Yellow Glow Appears On GWB (Video)
What was that big, bright mass that appeared on one of America's busiest bridges?
Was it terrestrial or was it alien? Inquiring minds want to know. You just never know what could happen when you're stuck in traffic on the George Washington Bridge. This time, it was no accident, not even a traffic jam that was the source of intrigue.
It was a bright yellow glow that — as a video showed (see below) — seemed to grow as traffic got heavier on Tuesday morning. And, no, Gov. Chris Christie and his Bridgegate-involved aides had nothing to do with it.
It appeared to be an oil spill that held up traffic for hours early Tuesday. Cars and trucks attempted to veer away from the spill, but it was hard to tell whether the glow affected motorists.

Of course, the oil spill was the official story provided by state transportation officials. Others may be able to dream up other scenarios: The end of a rainbow, perhaps? The return of E.T.? Tinker Bell waving her magic wand?
You be the judge:
