North Jersey Man High On PCP Caught Masturbating In Lincoln Tunnel: Police

A North Jersey man high on PCP was arrested after police found him stripping and masturbating inside a minivan in the Lincoln Tunnel Thursday, police said.

Ismael Esquilin, 48, of Passaic, was arrested after police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the New York-bound tube at 7:15 p.m., said Joseph Pentangelo, a Port Authority Police spokesperson.

Police found Esquilin standing in a 2005 Dodge minivan stopped in a traffic lane; Esquilin was stripping and masturbating inside the vehicle, Pentangelo said.

Police got Esquilin out of the minivan, covered him with a blanket and arrested him, Pentangelo said. Esquilin refused to provide a breath sample and was taken to Hoboken University Medical Center where he later admitting to smoking PCP, he said.

Police found a glass pipe with suspected crack cocaine and a small glass bottle with suspected PCP inside the minivan, police said.

Esquilin was charged with lewdness, reckless driving, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, refusal to provide a breath sample, refusal to provide a urine sample, driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled dangerous sample in a motor vehicle and impeding traffic.
