Police Save Suicidal Man's Life On The GWB
Is the 63rd time this year police have intervened during a suicide attempt.

FORT LEE, N.J. — Port Authority Police saved the life of a man they said was going to jump off the George Washington Bridge Friday afternoon.
At about 4:35 p.m., police found a 35-year-old man on the south walk near the New Jersey tower, said Joe Pentangelo, a Port Authority spokesman. Police took the uninjured man into custody.
The Hackensack man was taken to Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus.

It is the 63rd suicide attempt from the bridge police have intervened on during this year, Pentangelo said.
