Police Searching Hudson River For GWB Jumper
BREAKING: A man was driving an SUV toward NYC when he stopped midspan, got out and jumped, authorities said.

FORT LEE, NJ — Police are searching the Hudson River for a man they said jumped off the George Washington Bridge Monday.
The Port Authority Police Department received a report shortly before 6:30 a.m. of a man abandoning a Honda sport utility vehicle midspan, going onto the south walkway and jumping into the Hudson River, said department spokesman Joseph Pentangelo. The Honda was heading east on the bridge.
As of 9:30 a.m., the man's body was not recovered, Pentangelo said.

The man is described as being in his 30s, Pentangelo said.
