Rutherford Biz Admin to Replace Balletto During Maternity Leave
Robert Brown will work a max of 4 days per week at a rate of $525 per day during Cheryl Balletto's 11 month maternity leave.
The Fort Lee Board of Education Monday chose Robert Brown, a school business administrator from nearby Rutherford, to fill in for Cheryl Balletto, who will be out on maternity leave for 11 months.
Brown will serve a max of four days per week as interim business administrator and board secretary from July 1 to May 9, 2014, and receive $525 per day, according to a report published on NorthJersey.com. The board in February also OK’d 120 days of unpaid leave for Balletto.
The 3,700-student district had been actively seeking the interim business admin to temporarily replace Balletto, who has served in the position since 2007.

The district is facing a number of projects over the next year including work related to a 30 million referendum passed last year.
