Express lanes were closed on the George Washington Bridge outbound because of an overturned tractor trailer early Wednesday.
A tractor-trailer also burst into flames overnight on the New Jersey Turnpike and closed lanes on the highway, according to state transportation officials [see video below].

The truck-fire happened near mile marker 97.7 in Linden and the left two southbound lanes were closed Tuesday night.

The driver escaped with minor injuries, and it's not known how the truck caught fire just before 8 p.m., according to nj.com.
The incident is still under investigation.
