• Seniors eligible for free farmers market produce program (townshipjournal.com subscription) — Fredon seniors 60 and older can receive a one-time $40 benefit this summer to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at participating New Jersey farm stands through Sussex County’s Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Eligible county residents must meet income limits, show proof of age, residency, and income, and can apply in person in Newton starting June 1, with benefits usable through November 30.
