3-Alarm Fire Prompts Multi-Agency Response In Freehold
The fire broke out around noon on Friday in East Freehold Township, authorities said.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Firefighters, police and EMS helped tackle a three-alarm fire that broke out in Freehold on Friday.
At 12:05 p.m. on Friday, Freehold EMS units were requested into East Freehold Township to respond to the structure fire, alongside Freehold Township Police, Freehold fire companies, Freehold EMS and mutual aid companies.
During the early phases of the incident, on-scene EMS helped transport a patient to an area hospital for evaluation, Freehold EMS said.

Shortly after this, two additional Freehold EMS ambulances responded to the scene to provide coverage as the fire reached the third alarm.
The incident rehab trailer (supplied by Gordons Corner Fire Company 261) also responded to the scene with Marlboro Emergency Medical Services.

“In total, FEMS units operated for about three hours before being released by incident command,” Freehold EMS said. “Four of our ambulances were staffed during this incident. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.”
According to a report from the Asbury Park Press, the fire caused “significant damage” a two-story home on East Freehold Road.
