Freehold Borough Police led the investigation, and sentencing is scheduled for December, when he faces a lengthy prison term and lifetime sex offender requirements under New Jersey law.

Important Information About Your Drinking Water (freeholdboroughnj.gov) β Freehold Borough's water department is notifying residents that required monitoring for two contaminants, DBCP and Ethylene Dibromide, was not fully completed during the 2023β2025 cycle. Officials say there is no emergency and recent samples were below limits, but they've now submitted the necessary tests and are urging customers to share this information with others who use the water system.

New Hackensack Meridian Health & Wellness Center opens in Freehold (roi-nj.com) β A new Hackensack Meridian Health & Wellness Center has opened on Route 9 in Freehold, giving local residents one-stop access to primary care, lab work, imaging, and many specialty services. Using the same records system as HMH hospitals, the center aims to make routine checkups and coordinated care much easier to fit into busy schedules.

Unranked girls soccer team lands 4 2nd-half goals to take down top 20 rival (nj.com subscription) β Freehold soccer fans saw a wild opener as Manasquan rallied past Freehold Township, ranked No. 17 statewide, with four second-half goals to win 4β2 in town. Despite early leads and goals from Emily Ryszetnyk and Adele Moy, the Patriots fell to 0β2 as Manasquan's balanced scoring surge flipped the match late.
