Chick-Fil-A Grand Opening at Freehold Raceway Mall

The chance of rain that has lingered for the past few days but has hardly arrived should make a full appearance today according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday’s forecast calls for a high of 85 and a 40 percent chance of showers before dropping to a low of 71 at night when the chance of showers raises to 50 percent. There are a variety of events happening in and around town today that should not be affected by the weather.

Hope Lutheran Church located at 211 Elton Adelphia Road will be hosting a block party starting at 6:30. There will also be an informal Holy Communion Service after the dinner. While there are events scheduled to be held outdoors the party will happen rain or shine. People coming to the event are asked to bring an international dish to share with their fellow partygoers.

Thursday is also a special day at the Freehold Raceway Mall as the latest Chick-Fil-A opens in the food court. The cow makes its official arrival near the carousel in the spot formerly occupied by Color Me Mine.
