CentraState Healthcare System, in conjunction with Get Moving-Get Healthy New Jersey, is offering an interactive food class, "Adventures in Eating for Kids: Sensational Sauces & Pizza" on Aug. 4, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center.
A registered nurse/cooking instructor will teach children ages 8 and up about making healthy versions of some of their favorite foods such as pizza and salsa, through fun, hands-on activities and tasting samples. Each child also will receive a free chef’s hat.
The program cost is $12 for one child and $10 for each additional sibling.
