The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County will welcome back the "Hester Street Troupe" for a Klezmer concert on Dec. 18 at 3 p.m.
The program will consist of Klezmer, songs from Yiddish vaudeville, as well as classic older songs and comedy.
Admission is $18, $15 for members. Please make your reservations early as their previous performance sold out.
Klezmer music,sometimes called Jewish or Yiddish folk music, is a unique blend of traditional Eastern European secular melodies, popular dances, and Hasidic liturgies.
