International Folk Songs Presented Dec. 25

Classically trained professional singer Lisa Frost-Goodall of Red Bank will offer a concert encompassing music from several cultural traditions at the The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County in Freehold on Dec. 25.

"It's a classical concert in a hall with wonderful acoustics," said Goodall. "They are love songs and ballads. Some of them are sad, some of them romantic. There are some upbeat Jewish songs also, but some of them are contemplative."

The concert includes songs sung in Hebrew, French and Ladino, as well as some Irish and Scottish flute melodies she will perform. She will read two poems, one of them in German.
