Fairs, Festivals & More: This Weekend In Monmouth County

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The weekend has officially arrived.

As we get closer to the end of July and the start of August, there’s plenty of summer events still happening along the Jersey Shore.

Whether you’re looking to check out the annual Monmouth County Fair, hear some live music, or shop from local vendors and creators, here are five local events you can check out this weekend:

Monmouth County Fair

• Dates: Through Sunday
• Location: East Freehold Showgrounds (Kozloski Road, Freehold)
• Details: Enjoy rides, live music, food vendors, games, entertainment and more at the annual Monmouth County Fair. General admission is $10, children 12 and under are free.

Jersey Blues Day

• Date: Saturday
• Location: Cream Ridge Winery (145 County Road 539, Cream Ridge)
• Details: Join Cream Ridge Winery to celebrate National NJ Day with Blues-berry Sangria, live music, food trucks and more.

Italian Festival & Wine Tasting

• Dates: Saturday & Sunday
• Location: Monmouth Park (Oceanport Avenue, Oceanport)
• Details: Join Monmouth Park on Saturday and Sunday for their annual Italian Festival & Wine Tasting, featuring Italian favorites from some of the area's top restaurants, delis and food trucks as well as a sampling of wines. Tickets required.

Refresh Vintage Market

• Date: Sunday
• Location: Bell Works (101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel)
• Details: Explore one-of-a-kind collectibles, vintage pieces and more with Asbury Refresh on Sunday. All vinyl music by DJ Bilo from 12-3 p.m.

FBAC Jazz, Blues & More: Summer Concert Series

• Date: Sunday
• Location: Downtown Freehold Gazebo (10 East Main Street, Freehold)
• Details: Join the Freehold Borough Arts Council for a summer evening of jazz, blues and more by the gazebo.
