Foodie Event Featuring Award Winning Local Chefs to Benefit CPC Behavioral Healthcare

CPC's Culinary Adventure is one of the longest running food tasting events in Monmouth County.

CULINARY STARS SHINE at CPC BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE’s CULINARY ADVENTURE FOOD TASTING

CPC's Annual Culinary Adventure food & wine tasting will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck, NJ, from 6-9 p.m. This evening of tempting fare features gourmet tastings from some of Monmouth County's best restaurants, delicious desserts, and specialty beverages (wine and beer).

Returning again this year, a Chef’s Demo featuring the award-winning local foodie favorite, Drew Araneo of Drew’s Bayshore Bistro in Keyport. The demo is being offered from 5 PM – 6 PM for an additional $25 per person. Chef Drew, who studied under beloved Monmouth County restaurateur, Joe Romanowski, is a James Beard nominee for Best Regional Chef and Winner of Beat Bobby Flay. He was also recognized as “Best Southern/Caribbean in Central Jersey”, “Critics Pick ‘Best of the Best’ Central Jersey, and “Top 25 in New Jersey” by New Jersey Monthly in 2015.

To date, the following vendors are expected: Angelica’s – Sea Bright, B2 Bistro – Red Bank, Chowda House – Red Bank, Bistro at Red Bank/Teak/Greek Eats – Red Bank, Drew’s Bayshore Bistro - Keyport, Eagle Specialty Coffee - Eatontown, Fresh - Highlands, It’s Greek to Me - Holmdel, Jacques Exclusive Catering - Keyport, Johnny Piancone – Long Branch, Porcini – Highlands, San Marzano Trattoria – Freehold, Scarborough Fair – Sea Girt, Shore Point Distributing Company - Freehold, The Cheese Cave – Red Bank, The Macaroon Shop – Avon-by-the-Sea, and Waves on Main - Belmar.

Participating businesses make it possible for CPC to raise funds and provide children and families in need with vital counseling services.

The event has attracted several generous underwriters including: the AT&T Pioneers, TD Bank and Two River Community Bank. CPC has been providing behavioral health and special education services to people who live and work in Monmouth County for more than 55 years. The Agency has three counseling centers located in Aberdeen, Freehold and Red Bank. The High Point Schools enroll more than 200 special education students each year.

The Agency hosts several events each year to raise funds in support of its mission to serve our communities by delivering evidence-based services in mental health, substance abuse, special education and physical health through an integrated system of care designed to promote wellness, recovery and productive lives. Last year, CPC served more than 8,000 people in all its programs.

Food will be paired with fun as the evening also includes a Silent Auction, 50/50 raffle and a chance to win a piece of textile art—a quilt made by the CPC Quilters.
