The MVC advises customers to log on to NJMVC.gov before heading to an MVC office to check the status of the location. Services such as registration and license renewals can be completed online.

The agency will email individuals with cancelled appointments.

“In order to protect customers and employees, the MVC follows strict quarantine rules in the case of confirmed exposure to COVID-19. As cases surge nationwide, more Centers may be closed and appointments cancelled due to those quarantines,” the agency said in a statement.

“Safety and public health remain paramount. The MVC apologizes for the inconvenience.”
