Howell H.S. Student Honored For Community Service
Patricia Gresco, a senior, was among those lauded by the Monmouth County Guidance Director Association with the 2015 Caring Award.

Patricia Gresco, a student at Howell High School, is a busy young woman.
When she’s not at a field hockey or lacrosse game or teaching a religious class to youngsters at her local church, the senior is raising money for Relay for Life and helping to raise funds for Special Strides, an organization that operates a therapeutic horseback riding program for children with developmental disabilities.
It is these activities and more that have earned her the school’s Monmouth County Guidance Director Association’s Caring Award. This award is voted on by the high school’s guidance department for a student who has volunteered their time, effort, dedication and has made a difference in their community, according to a news release from the Freehold Regional High School District. The Monmouth County Guidance Director Association is a professional, nonprofit organization of school counseling (guidance) directors from public and private schools in Monmouth County.
