iPlay America Thrills Thousands with All-Month Long Spooky Spooktacular!
A recap of iPlay America's month-long Halloween celebration

iPlay America staged a Spooky Spooktacular Halloween celebration that lasted the entire month of October, and while it may be just a memory now, it is a memory sure to last a lifetime for the thousands of guests who experienced it.
iPlay America set the stage through an impressive reimagining of the décor throughout the entire venue, which included renaming rides and attractions and offering new and original events and shows for guests to enjoy. From the fiendishly playful characters of “Halloweentown” to the staff and guests dressed to impress, iPlay America was the place to revel in an all-indoors, all fun, all-the-time Halloween extravaganza like no other.
Even the marvelous mixologists at Game Time Bar & Grill concocted the most delightfully tasty Halloween beverages like the “Liquefied Ghost,” “The Vampires Dream,” and the wickedly yummy “Spiderella.”

“Full Moon After Dark,” complete with sound and lights, was offered on Friday nights. Two additional exclusive and original experiences — the “Phantom of iPA” organist, and the interactive “EVERYBODY SCREAM!” shows — were
created just for guests of iPlay America and they were a big hit.

All this action had guests of all ages indulging their inner child with wild abandon! More than 1,000 kids participated in the park’s Trick or Treat Trail, co-sponsored by First Commerce Bank. Kids followed a park map to six sweet stations to get candy goodies. Even better, they then dropped their maps at iPlay America’s iLounge for a chance to win an iPlay America birthday party.
All in all, the Spooky Spooktacular was a visual thrill ride that brought color and costumed fun to every aspect of iPlay America!
“No one did Halloween like iPlay America this year!” said Jessica Schwartz, director of marketing for iPlay America. “When you start by literally transforming this huge space, you know people are going to be impressed…and they were. In addition to the eye candy, iPlay America provided the Halloween experience in the region for all ages.”
iPlay America promoted Spooky Spooktacular through a variety of media, including ads that drove people to the website to learn more and to register for deals. The New Jersey “Best Attraction” blew out website page views with more than 23,000 in the month of October alone, and more than 700 people downloaded coupons for the Friday, October 30, Full Moon After Dark special deal.
“Our staff did a spectacular job of making our first Spooky Spooktacular a MONSTER success,” Schwartz added. “But, there’s next Halloween to prepare for, and we’re already thinking of ways to grow that monster.”
