THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN FREEHOLD AND ATU LOCAL PRESENT $1,000 TO MAKE-A-WISH

Academy of Early Education Acts on Commitment to Charity as part of its Unique Philanthropy Curriculum

On August 13, 2015, in celebration of Family Fun Month, The Learning Experience® (TLE®), one of the nation’s fastest growing academies of early education for children six weeks to five years old, in Freehold held a “Family Fun Night” and fundraiser in support of Make-A-Wish®. Joining the center’s efforts, the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU Local 726) donated $1,000 to Make-A-Wish on behalf of TLE® Freehold. The check was presented on August 18th.

“We believe that early childhood education is a foundational building block upon which children can grow to reach their fullest potential,” said Danielle LaPalla, Center Director of TLE® Freehold. “Through our unique philanthropy curriculum and fun-filled community events that encourage families and community partners to give back, our students are learning to apply the basic tenets of philanthropy beyond the classroom, lessons that will stick with them into adulthood.”

With 90 percent of a child’s brain developing within the first 5 years of life, TLE® places a prominent focus on programs that advance scholastic and social preparation, including its one-of-a-kind L.E.A.P.® (Learning Experience Academic Program) curriculum and enrichment programs, which have been developed from more than 30 years of experience in the early education industry.
