Live Music, Art In The Garden: This Weekend In Monmouth County

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The weekend is almost here, and in Monmouth County, there’s plenty of spring events planned for community members to enjoy.

Whether you’re looking for a night of live music or hoping to participate in some Easter activities, there’s plenty of events happening around Monmouth County this weekend.

Jazz Night
Every third Friday of the month, the Belmar Arts Center will transform into a Jazz Club for guests to enjoy.

Attendees can wear their dancing shoes, bring a snack or their favorite drink (BYOB), and enjoy a night of “soulful sounds” at the event. Doors are at 6:30 p.m. and there is a $5 cover.

Easter Celebration
For those looking for some local Easter events this weekend, you can check out the Easter Celebration at the Historic Village of Allaire on Saturday.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a bubble magician, live animals, a village scavenger hunt and more at the event.

Fossil Hunt
On Saturday, you can join the Monmouth Museum and local fossil expert Marc Rogoff for a guided exploration of the Poricy Park Fossil Beds in Middletown. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt
Starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, the East Freehold Fire Company will host its 1st annual Easter Egg Hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny.

The hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m. and pictures will run from 12-2 p.m.

Spring Art In The Garden
On Saturday, Calgo Gardens will gather local artists and artisans for their Spring Art In The Garden event.
