CentraState Ball Queen ContestTo celebrate its half-century anniversary, CentraState will be holding a Golden Gala 50th Celebration Ball in October. But what would a ball be without a queen? If you are between the ages of 16 and 23 and would like to participate in CentraState’s first Ball Queen Contest in 30 years, you are invited to attend an information session on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Room C of the Conference Center in the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus.

The contestants will participate in a fashion show on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the South Gate Manor. The event is cosponsored by Freehold boutique Diane & Co., which is featured on the television show “Jersey Couture.”

The Freehold Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Town Hall.

Colonials boys golf hosts Colts Neck at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while girls golf faces Marlboro away at that time. At 3:45 p.m. baseball and softball play Ocean Township away, and boys volleyball plays Marlboro at home at that time. Boys tennis hosts the Patriots at 3:45 p.m.
Patriots boys track will compete in the Penn Relays at 9:40 a.m. At 1 p.m., boys golf will compete in the Shore Conference Tournament at Eagle Oak. Baseball and softball play Middletown North away at 4 p.m., while girls lacrosse faces Marlboro away at that time.
