OHI Opens Health Center in Freehold
New Health Center opens in Freehold offering primary and preventative healthcare

Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc., (OHI) a federally qualified health center (FQHC), has opened a new location at 20 Jackson Street in Freehold. The Health Center, OHI’s first location in Monmouth County, is now accepting patients and operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours are subject to seasonal changes.
This is OHI’s ninth location in New Jersey, including Health Centers in Ocean County that include Brick, Lakewood, Little Egg Harbor, Manahawkin, Manchester and Toms River; as well as two School-based Wellness Programs at the Clifton Avenue Elementary School and Lakewood Highschool in Lakewood. OHI Health Centers offer primary and preventative care services, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
The site has seven, state-of-the-art exam rooms and is offering internal and family medicine, with more services planned. Additional OHI services offered at its other locations include pediatrics, dental, podiatry, behavioral health, social services and pharmacy. Patients also have access to on-site LabCorp services and an award-winning patient portal.

OHI provides comprehensive primary and preventative health and dental care to Ocean and Monmouth County’s uninsured, underinsured and insured populations. A sliding-fee scale is available, based on an individual's or family's ability to pay. Services include family and internal medicine, dental, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health and social services, podiatry and pharmacy services.
